2021 Season Comes to a Close in Cary

STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC fell 1-0 to North Carolina FC on the road as their 2021 USL League One season comes to a close.

Tormenta FC recorded 11 shots tonight, including a late-match near goal from Tormenta Academy signee Brittain Gottlieb. During first-half stoppage time, Raheem Somersall received a second yellow and was sent off with a red for the remainder of the match, leaving Tormenta down a man.

Early into the second half, former Tormenta FC player Peter Pearson gave NCFC the lead with a strike from outside the box which slid past Pablo Jara.
