STATESBORO, Ga. – June 6, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC’s Callum Stretch has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week squad for his performance against Charlotte Independence.
The six-foot-four-inch defender Callum Stretch had a standout performance in the recent match against Charlotte Independence. He completed an impressive 92% of his passes and created three goal-scoring chances from right back. Stretch also recorded the Ibises’ only assist of the night, assisting Mason Tunbridge’s late equalizer. In addition, he won four duels and completed six clearances, showcasing his defensive skill set.
Stretch joined South Georgia after finishing his collegiate career at Loyola Marymount University, where he started 36 out of 37 matches and made the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
