Brad Nein, Ed.D., is the Vice President of Tormenta FC Academy. He has worked in the education, soccer, and coaching industry throughout his 24-year professional career. Brad is motivated by creating positive youth sports experiences that empower athletes, families, and coaches to discover opportunities for lifetime success.
Tormenta FC Academy has had tremendous success over the last six years in which Brad has been Academy Vice President. During this time, Tormenta has started programming and participated successfully in the USL Academy, MLS NEXT, the Development Players League (DPL), and the South Carolina State Youth Soccer Leagues. We have a true pathway to professional soccer at Tormenta FC.
Not to be outdone, programming for boys and girls between the ages of 4-12 has developed into a model that benefits players at their play and dedication level allowing them to increase their abilities and have fun. Tormenta Futures, Recreation, Pre-Academy, and Junior Academy are all thriving programs reinvented over the course of the last six years to better serve players and families.
Nein played collegiately at Salisbury University. Brad holds the USSF “B” License and the US Youth Soccer National Youth License as well as the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, Director of Coaching Diploma, and Goalkeeping Level 3 Diploma. Brad has spoken at numerous conferences and written for professional publications on topics related to youth sports development and on and off-the-field coaching strategies for success.

Jennifer Hampton is the Chief of Staff for Tormenta FC Academy. She is responsible for planning and managing the administrative, financial, and operational activities of Tormenta FC Academy.
Hampton played collegiately at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She holds the USSF “D” License as well as the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma.
Kian Brownlee

Kian Brownlee is the MLS Next Director for the Tormenta FC Academy. He has worked in the teaching, coaching, and leadership industry for the last 22 years. As the previous Director of Coaching for the club, Kian provided a framework for the development of academy players while overseeing the recruitment and development of players and coaches within the organization. He now oversees our male players as they play at the highest level offered in the region in the MLS Next program.
Brownlee played collegiately at Liberty University. Kian holds the USSF “B” License as well as the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and Director of Coaching Diploma. As the former Junior Academy Director, Kian continues to influence the direction of the program by coaching two Junior Academy teams.
