South Georgia Tormenta FC have established a “Spectator Code of Conduct” for all of our season ticket holders, their guests, and other fans who attend our matches. We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all of our fans when attending matches at Tormenta Stadium. Tormenta fans have a right to expect an environment in which they will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all arena, team and league personnel. The players and officials have the same rights. Accordingly, fans are responsible for their own conduct.The following behavior is prohibited in the stadium and in the surrounding areas:
- Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field).
- Attempts to enter the playing field.
- Intoxication, diminished capacity or other signs of impairment related to substance abuse.
- Possession and/or use of illegal drugs or weapons.
- Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature.
- Foul or abusive language or gestures.
- Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures.
- Smoking and/or the use of tobacco products in and around Tormenta Stadium.
- Displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting.
- Failing to comply with instructions from ushers, parking attendants, security or law enforcement.
- Obscene or indecent clothing or clothing that denotes or connotes obscene or indecent messages.
- Accessing areas without a proper ticket, pass and/or credential or misusing tickets, passes and/or credentials.
- Trespassing, soliciting, loitering or peddling.
- Interference with other guests’ ability to experience the game.
- Any other action deemed dangerous or inappropriate.
Prohibited Items List:
- Illegal drugs or harmful chemicals.
- Any missile or projectile like object.
- Aerosol cans or pressurized containers.
- Professional camera equipment; tripods, battery packs, large commercial video cameras, cameras with detachable lenses and/or lenses 6 in. or longer.
- Laser pointers or flashlights.
- Remote controlled aircraft or unmanned aircraft systems (drones).
- Animals (except service animals).
- Signs / banners larger than 2 ft. x 2 ft. (or any other item that could obstruct other patron’s views).
- Large umbrellas (Fans should consider bringing raincoats/ponchos for inclement weather).
- Outside food and beverage of any kind.
- Metal or glass containers of any kind.
- Backpacks and large bags over 14x14x6 inches (subject to search).
- Noisemakers (air horns, drums, whistles, cowbells, horns, etc.).
- Bikes, inline skates, skateboards, scooters, shoes with wheels.
- Frisbees or inflated balls of any kind.
- Un-approved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
- Strollers or baby seats may not be taken into the stands or left in section entrances.
- Chairs and Seats with Backs: Fans may continue bring blankets or seat cushions without backs, arms, legs or pockets.
- Selfie sticks and/or monopods.
- Any other items deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by the person responsible for safety/security at Eagle Field.
Behavior in violation of the Spectator Code of Conduct may result in the guest being ejected without refund, barred from Tormenta Stadium, arrested by police, being subject to possible prosecution and/or having his/her Tormenta FC VIP and/or season tickets revoked. All Tormenta FC VIP and season tickets holders are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons using their tickets. Tormenta FC VIP and season tickets, as well as individual game tickets, are revocable licenses. Tormenta FC reserves the right to revoke ticket privileges for any reason and at any time during the season. Tormenta FC will notify in writing the VIP and/or season ticket holder of record of any report of fan misconduct.
Tormenta FC and the United Soccer League thank you for adhering to the provisions of this Spectator Code of Conduct. Tormenta FC retains the right to change or modify this policy at any time.
Alcohol Service Management
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be taken outside the stadium once purchased.
- All alcoholic beverages will stop being served at the 75th minute.
- All Tormenta FC staff must be TIPS certified to serve beer or wine inside the stadium.
- Tormenta FC staff are not allowed to serve alcohol to any person under the age of 21. Any person who appears to be 30 years old or younger must be asked for and present a valid identification before receiving any alcoholic beverage.
- Tormenta FC has Alcohol Service Permits with Georgia Southern to allow the distribution of alcohol to guest members who are located in the VIP area and meet the requirements.
- If a guest who has provided proper identification is observed transferring an alcoholic beverage to another guest who appears to be under the age of 30, a valid identification must be obtained from the guest in question.
- The following documents are the only valid forms of identification acceptable to Tormenta Stadium and Tormenta FC:
- Valid, current United States or Canadian Driver’s License
- Valid, current Military Identification with photo
- Valid, current United States or Canadian State identification with photo
- Valid, current Passport
- Tormenta FC staff must physically examine all forms of identification to ensure that the identification is valid.
- All drinks will be made to the Tormenta FC standards. These standards are: 1) no free pouring; 2) wine must be a 5-oz. pour when using bottles, 6.3-oz. pour when using package 187 ml bottles in certain applications; 3) draft beers must not exceed 16 oz.
- Proper signage will be placed on the stadium premises at all times, stating the legal age to purchase an alcoholic beverage, identification policies, drink limit, cut-off time, and any other requirements dictated by local, state, or province regulations. Each stand and bar location must display the proper signage at eye level or higher.
- Obviously, intoxicated guests may not receive any more alcoholic beverages. Any Tormenta FC staff serving beer or wine to a guest who appears to be intoxicated is in violation of responsible alcohol service standards.
- Tormenta FC staff, who partakes in pouring an alcoholic beverage, unless assigned to do so by management as part of their responsibilities, may be subject to disciplinary action.
- Tormenta FC staff may be subject to disciplinary up to and including termination as they partake in any of the following actions: 1) unauthorized consumption of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances while on stadium property or any work area; 2) showing signs of intoxication while on duty; 3) reporting to work under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances; 4) possession of, or bringing to the workplace, any alcoholic beverages or controlled substances; 5) violating the alcohol and drug policy.
- Tormenta FC staff are not allowed to sell, deliver, store, or use any unlawful drugs or controlled substances in any work area.
