Get ready for an action-packed evening of fast-paced 4v4 soccer at the Tormenta FC Shamrock Showdown! This St. Patrick’s Day–themed event promises high-energy matches, plenty of scoring, and a festive atmosphere for players and fans alike. The tournament is open to all participants, regardless of club affiliation, giving everyone a chance to compete, show off their skills, and be part of a lively, community-focused soccer celebration.

Held on Friday, March 13, from 5:00–9:00 PM at Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus Recreation Fields, players are encouraged to wear their best green gear and join in the fun. Teams born between 2011 and 2019 are welcome to participate. The tournament is open to all participants, regardless of club affiliation, giving everyone a chance to compete, show off their skills, and enjoy the fun of a lively, community-focused soccer celebration. Each team is guaranteed three fast-paced 4v4 matches in a round-robin format, with top teams advancing to championship matches to close out the evening.

In addition to the exciting soccer action, the Shamrock Showdown offers plenty of off-field fun. Families and spectators can enjoy delicious food, exciting giveaways, and a lively event atmosphere throughout the night. Players are encouraged to bring their team spirit and festive energy as we celebrate soccer and community together.

Celebrate Her Drive: Victory Bites

The DPL Girls will be hosting a fundraiser at the Shamrock Showdown! All food sales will help support the team’s trip to DPL Nationals. After an incredible season where they went undefeated and secured 1st place in the DPL South East Region, the girls are ready to take on nationals!

Stop by to congratulate the team on their success and enjoy some delicious pulled pork; all proceeds go directly to funding their national trip to Virginia Beach, VA, June 23–28, 2026.

How to Register:

1. As a team
   • One parent needs to register the team and will receive a team code
   • Each player on the team will register and use the team code to be automatically rostered on the team
2. As an individual without a team
   • Players may register as “free agent”
   • Tormenta FC will group free agents by age and gender to form teams
