STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC announced today Miguel Lopez is taking on an increased leadership role at Tormenta FC Academy, moving from Hilton Head Academy Director to Girls Select Director. Within this role, Lopez will oversee all girls programming for players between U13 and U19.
"Miguel has had numerous successes as the Hilton Head Academy Director over the years and will still have an opportunity to work with players on a weekly basis in this program," TFC Academy Director of Operations Brad Nein said. "We are looking forward to the proven leadership that Miguel will deliver to our players, coaches and families within the girls select program. Miguel will work incredibly hard to ensure each participant, family, and coach will be a valued member of the Tormenta FC Academy family."
An individual of high character on and off the field, Miguel has had tremendous success within each program he has led throughout his ten year coaching career. Miguel is a skilled coach that has tremendous poise, confidence and enthusiasm that transfers over to the players he works with.
