South Georgia Tormenta FC is excited to announce its third annual “Fans, Food, & Futbol” season kickoff event at The Clubhouse on Thursday, Feb. 27.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a Coach’s Show, emceed by Statesboro Herald’s Mike Anthony. Fans will hear from owner Darin Van Tassell and Tormenta FC players ahead of the club’s second professional season. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided.
At 7:30 p.m., fans will have the opportunity to compete alongside the professional players in a bowling tournament at The Clubhouse. Fans should register to bowl before the event on the Tormenta FC website, as space is limited. There will be prizes for the tournament winner and other accomplishments. In order to bowl fans must have purchased a Fans, Food & Futbol ticket or be a season ticket member.
All media, VIP season ticket holders and season sponsors gain free entry with a drink voucher for the event. Season Ticket Holders and game day sponsors get in for free without a voucher. General public tickets are $10, and student tickets are $1.
Fans who purchase a “Fans, Food & Futbol” ticket will receive a Tormenta FC vs. Charleston Battery preseason ticket for the next day, Friday, Feb. 28, at Eagle Field in Erk Russell Park.
Tormenta FC kicks off its 2020 regular-season schedule on Saturday, March 28, at home against defending USL League One champion North Texas SC. Fans can purchase 2020 Season Ticket Memberships at https://www.tormentafc.com/seasontickets.
