STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC has unveiled its new “Rooted in the 912” adidas away jersey for the upcoming 2022 USL League One season. Tormenta FC will don its new away jersey in Thursday’s fixture against the Charleston Battery in the second round of the Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup.
The jersey symbolizes the ongoing deeply rooted tradition of the 912 through its local high school and collegiate sports teams proudly representing their institutions in Navy Blue and White. Local high schools Portal Middle High School and Statesboro High School alongside Georgia Southern University all have rich history tied to the colors.

The jersey sees white as the primary color with navy blue featuring throughout the shoulders and adidas logo. The three adidas stripes are highlighted in white.
The new jerseys are made from primegreen, a range of high-performance recycled materials, and boast innovative heat.rdy-keep cool technology, which is designed to regulate temperature during matches.
The jersey will not be available for sale initially, currently exclusive to Tormenta FC professional players.
The “Bolt Kit” remains available for purchase through our official club shop site as a pre-sale item through the end of April.
Tormenta FC is excited for a historic 2022 as it transitions from Erk Russell Park to Tormenta Stadium.
