Defender Conner Antley Assists all Three Goals

Post-Game Quote Sheet
Head Coach John Miglarese
On Tormenta’s Comeback After FC Tucson’s Goal:
“I was pleased with their response to conceding a goal. We transitioned very quickly in the second half and really dominated the game in possession, scoring three great goals. It was a really good performance, and I’m proud of them. They’re such a young group and they looked experienced tonight.”
“They pulled themselves together after giving away that goal. We’ve done a lot of work on our values and on what to do when things don’t go our way and how to discipline their emotions. They have a lot of belief in themselves and it showed.”
Conner Antley
On tonight’s win:
“It’s the second game in, and the boys were itching to get back on the field. We played against a tough opponent, FC Tucson. They had a good game plan coming in, but we switched up our plan after halftime, and I think we executed it well.”
Conner Antley
On Tormenta’s Response to the Tucson Goal:
“It was a phenomenal goal from Tucson, and after the goal, we huddled together and talked about something we’ve been talking about since we got here – how we respond to adversity, how we respond to things not going our way. This was the first real test we’ve had this season. We gave up a goal, and we responded in the best way possible.”
