Tormenta FC Draws to Lansing Ignite FC 0-0
Tormenta FC and Lansing Ignite drew tonight in Erk Russell Park after a frustrating, but hard-fought match. Although Tormenta seemed to be the more dominant team throughout with Lansing Ignite never holding possession for long, the match ended 0-0. The lack of goals was not without effort on Tormenta’s part, though, with eleven total shots and many close chances to Lansing’s three shots.
With the one point gained, Tormenta FC continues to sit second in the standings with eighteen points, one point after North Texas SC. Saturday, June 1, Tormenta FC heads to face its rival Greenville Triumph SC for the second time this regular season after falling to them 1-0 in Round One of the US Open Cup.
