Tormenta 2 Falls to SC United Bantams 2-0
Suffers First Loss of the Season
Storms have followed Tormenta FC wherever it went this week with two canceled matches and tonight’s match being moved to Savannah. Tormenta FC 2 and SC United Bantams, two of the league’s biggest rivals went head to head tonight at Calvary Day School’s Specialty Sports Complex. Tormenta FC 2 lost its first match of the season tonight 2-0 to the Bantams.
Tormenta 2 was the stronger team for most of the match with twelve shots, but the Bantams got lucky off of their only two close chances of the game, two corner kicks.
Tormenta FC 2 now travels to Rock Hill, SC to play Discoveries SC whom the team beat 4-0 on May 20. The club will get the chance to avenge its loss on Thursday, June 27 in Columbia, SC.
