Tormenta Tales with Drew Fellios
ESPN’s Fellios Will Uncover Untold Tormenta Tales in Exclusive Web Series
Today, Tormenta FC introduced “Tormenta Tales with Drew Fellios”, an exclusive web series written by ESPN’s Drew Fellios who will uncover Tormenta stories that might otherwise go unnoticed. The series will run throughout the season and can be found on www.tormentafc.com.
Drew’s first spotlight story focuses on Netra Van Tassell, co-owner of Tormenta FC. Inside the club, Netra is a woman who has many titles, the most prominent one being “Mama Netra.” This story and the ones following will give Tormenta Nation a fresh outside look into the club like never before.
ESPN’s Drew Fellios has been the voice of Tormenta TV since the club’s inaugural season in 2016. Fellios started with ESPN in 2012 as a play-by-play commentator for college football and basketball. He has since become the main commentator for the Pop Warner Super Bowl and the International Champions Cup, along with ESPN Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Little League World Series. Fellios also commentates for USL Championship-side Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Sitting second in the USL League One standings, Tormenta FC will play the Richmond Kickers this Saturday, June 22 at 8 pm in Erk Russell Park. The teams’ first meeting on April 6 resulted in a 0-0 draw, but Tormenta looks to take home all three points this time.
