Tormenta 2 Takes Down Rivals SC United Bantams on the Road 3-0 After an entertaining match, Tormenta FC 2 won against the SC United Bantams on the road 3-0. Following the excitement of scoring the game-winning goal on Sunday from sixty yards out, Austrian forward Luca Mayr continued to shine as he scored a brace tonight. Christian Lue Young scored the third goal of the match and his first of the season.
Mayr scored the team’s first goal with only 20 minutes on the clock off of a corner kick from Adrian Billhardt. His second goal was accomplished during the second half around the 57th minute from inside the box. Soon after, Lue Young scored in the 69th minute, solidifying the team’s victory. Through all 90 minutes, Tormenta 2 was the clearly dominant side. The Bantams never had the chance to capitalize on their minimal opportunities, thanks to a strong defensive effort from Tormenta’s backline.
This game brings Tormenta FC 2 only 2 points behind SC United with a match in hand as the season starts to wind down. Tormenta 2 will now face Peachtree City MOBA at home this Saturday at 8 pm in Erk Russell Park.
