STATESBORO, Ga. – Tormenta FC has announced its preseason schedule ahead of the 2020 USL League One season, featuring matches against the USL Championship’s Charleston Battery, Charlotte Independence and Tampa Bay Rowdies. The club will also face Lander University and Young Harris College in Statesboro, Georgia.
"We have worked hard to put together a very challenging preseason for our players,” Head Coach John Miglarese said. “We think the quality opponents we have lined up will allow us to learn about the personnel we have and where we need to improve. I am really looking forward to these matches."

Tormenta FC kicks off its preseason on the road against Charlotte Independence on Feb. 12, followed by the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Feb. 23. The club will then host the Charleston Battery on Feb. 28 at Erk Russell Park. On March 14, Tormenta FC plays Lander University at the Clubhouse Fields and finishes its preseason lineup on March 21 against Young Harris College, one week shy of the club’s home opener.
