STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC announced today Kian Brownlee will begin coaching within the Tormenta FC Academy's Select Girls Soccer Program this year, leading the girls born in 2007 (U14).
"As a club, we are very excited about the impact Kian will have with our ’07 girls as well as the mentorship he can provide for our developing coaches," TFC Academy Director of Operations Brad Nein said. "This year will be instrumental in the development of these players, and we look forward to having Kian on the sideline."
Brownlee’s background and past successes as a club director and high-level coach in the Charleston area over the past 13 years will provide our girls with an opportunity to play for one of the most experienced and knowledgeable coaches in South Carolina. Kian is currently the assistant women’s soccer coach for the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB), holds a United States Soccer Federation “B” license and has had a direct coaching impact with over 60 girls that have played collegiate soccer over the course of his coaching tenure.
