STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC has announced today that Juan “Chava” Chavarria will take on an increased leadership role at Tormenta FC Academy for the upcoming season as the Hilton Head Academy Director. Within this role, Chavarria will organize and direct all programming for players on Hilton Head between the ages of 7 and 12.
"Chava has the ability to connect with his players and get the best out of them in all training and game-play situations," TFC Academy Director of Operations Brad Nein said. "We look forward to Chava creating memorable and meaningful experiences for families in their youth soccer journey."
As a soccer coach in Hilton Head over the last eight years, Chavarria has developed into a trusted leader, mentor and friend for so many young players and their families.
As the Hilton Head Academy Director, Chavarria will have a daily impact with each participant through training and game coaching while also setting the standard for coaches within the program.
