STATESBORO, Ga. – Following the postponement of the July 18 home opener, South Georgia Tormenta FC will kick off its second professional season this Saturday, July 25, hosting Chattanooga Red Wolves SC at 8 p.m. ET from Erk Russell Park.
In 2019, Tormenta FC went 0-2-1 against the Red Wolves. Tormenta FC finished sixth in the 2019 League One standings with 37 points right behind Chattanooga, which finished fifth with 40 points.
“Unfortunately, we had to postpone, but it made them even more hungry to play this weekend," TFC Head Coach John Miglarese said ahead the match against Chattanooga. "We’re less than 40 hours away, and I think the guys are ready to go.”
