STATESBORO, Ga. – Jordan Skelton has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 7 of the 2020 regular season after a quality performance for South Georgia Tormenta FC in its 1-1 draw against Orlando City B on Aug. 28.
The English defender won eight of his nine duels throughout the 90 minutes of play while also recording four clearances, three tackles and one interception.
Skelton and Tormenta FC will kick off at Erk Russell Park once again on Friday, Sept. 4, in a showdown with Greenville Triumph SC. The club advises fans to purchase tickets early as space will be limited due to COVID-19. A portion of each general admission ticket purchased will be donated to the Salvation Army to help people in need in Statesboro and the surrounding region.
