STATESBORO, Ga. – After announcing the release of Parker Siegfried to Detroit City FC, South Georgia Tormenta FC is excited to sign goalkeeper Paul Lewis on loan from the Charleston Battery, pending league and federation approval. Lewis is eligible to play this Friday versus Union Omaha at 8 p.m. ET and recently signed his first professional contract with Charleston in March.
“Parker got an opportunity to start for Detroit, and we were happy to let him have that opportunity,” TFC Head Coach John Miglarese said. “So we had to make some quick moves to make sure that we have a goalkeeping staff for the game tomorrow, and Charleston was good enough to loan us one of their goalkeepers, Paul Lewis. Paul is here now, and we’re really excited to have him with us.”
