STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC controlled the majority of the possession in tonight’s match but suffered a 2-0 defeat tonight versus the Richmond Kickers, unable to convert their chances and possession into goals.
Tormenta FC recorded seven shots and two chances on target in first half play, with both midfielder Adrian Billhardt and defender Sergi Nus coming close to breaking the deadlock.
The momentum continued in the second half, as Azaad Liadi kicked off the second half with a close shot just right of the goal in the 46th minute, while Joshua Phelps nearly took advantage of Marco Micaletto’s corner kick in the 48th, deflecting the ball just inches above the goal.
