STATESBORO, Ga. – The South Georgia Tormenta FC USL Academy League team looks to earn its second road win of the 2021 season, as it travels to the SCUFC Monticello Road Soccer Center in Columbia, South Carolina, to face off against South Carolina United at 2 p.m. ET.
This will be Tormenta FC's fifth game of the Southeast Division, with the team holding a 1-2-1 (W-L-T) record. South Carolina United, meanwhile, is playing for just the second time after losing 0-1 to Southern Soccer Academy on Saturday, June 26.
Joshua Elam and Tyler Bisseck have been scoring the goals for Tormenta FC so far this season, but other talented players – Renzo Andreucetti, Cade Theobald and more – have also stepped up and impressed the coaching staff. Tormenta FC will be looking for all of its players to work together to take down a tough opponent and earn a crucial road result.
Following Sunday’s Southeast Division clash, Tormenta FC will take on Southern Soccer Academy at 4 p.m. ET from The Clubhouse Fields in Statesboro, Georgia. It will be the first USL Academy match played in Statesboro, and admittance is free to the public..
