STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC looks to carry momentum from its 3-2 comeback win versus Greenville Triumph SC into Saturday as it takes on the Richmond Kickers. The match will kick off at 8 p.m. ET from Erk Russell Park, and Tormenta FC looks to turn its road win into a streak and keep itself in the playoff race.
Tormenta FC and Richmond have an even head-to-head record of 2-2-2 (W-L-D) since the inaugural USL League One season in 2019. Marco Micaletto is the only current Tormenta FC player to have scored against the Kickers and has notched a total of two goals against them.
On May 8, Tormenta FC traveled to Virginia, where Richmond came away with a 2-0 win and clean sheet at City Stadium. Tormenta FC held the majority of the possession and recorded 13 shots but was unable to convert their chances.
