STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC has parted ways with midfielder Craig McCall. The move is effective immediately.
McCall played in nine USL League One matches this season, recording 77 minutes and helping out defensively with four clearances, two interceptions and seven tackles.
Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, McCall joined the club in 2019, when he impressed with Tormenta FC 2 before inking his first professional contract for the 2021 League One season. McCall helped TFC 2 win USL League Two’s Southern Conference title, as well as topping the Deep South Division for the second year in a row. In 14 League Two matches and 871 minutes, the midfielder recorded one assist and five shots, scoring two goals.
