STATESBORO, GA. – USL League One announced its 2021 USL League One All-League Teams on Wednesday, honoring its leading performers from this year’s regular-season campaign. After an exceptional season leading Tormenta FC in several key statistics, midfielder Marco Micaletto has been named to USL League One’s All-League First Team.
This is Micaletto’s first All-League First Team appearance after earning an All-League Second Team selection in 2020. The Italian midfielder is the second Tormenta FC player in club history to appear on USL League One’s All-League First Team after Conner Antley received the honor in 2019 as well as claiming Defender of the Year.
Micaletto recorded a team-high of 11 goals – tied for fourth in the league – and recorded three assists and 40 key passes, starting in every match while missing only 22 minutes of action all season.
The 2021 USL League One All-League Team was voted on by club management. The finalists for the 2021 USL League One Awards will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 11, with the Award Winners to be announced next week during the build-up to the 2021 USL League One Final.
