South Georgia Tormenta FC has unveiled its new adidas home threads – the “Bolt Kit” – for the upcoming 2022 USL League One season. The “Bolt Kit” is now available for purchase through our official club shop site.
One of the most recognizable crests across American soccer, Tormenta FC’s stormy badge inspired the creation of the “Bolt Kit.” Powered by the storm, the Ibis is always ready for a challenge and willing to charge into any battle. As a storm approaches, the Ibis takes flight and is the last in the animal kingdom to seek shelter and the first to reappear when the storm subsides.
Thus, TFC’s newest kit features the club’s traditional navy, magenta and sky blue colorway highlighted by lightning strike patterns across the entirety of the jersey. It features the adidas logo in navy blue, and the player names, numbers and club sponsors showcased in white. The design is vibrant and spirited – an ode to the 912 community, known for its liveliness and loyalty, especially on game days.
The design reflects the spirit and togetherness of Tormenta FC, from staff to players to supporters, all under the slogan “For The 912,” which is featured prominently on the top back of the jersey as the club’s 2022 campaign.
“For The 912,” symbolizes the deep and powerful connection between club and community, highlighted by commitment to three initiatives for 2022: 1. food insecurity 2. diversity, equity, and inclusion 3. women in sports.
Optim Orthopedics – a Tormenta FC healthcare partner since 2015 – is prominently displayed across the front of the jersey, and The Clubhouse – an entertainment complex in Statesboro, Georgia – returns with placement on the right sleeve.
Since 2015, the colors of navy, sky blue and magenta have come together on Tormenta FC’s kits across South Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Navy has served as the primary color for the club, while magenta has also been featured on the home kits from 2015-22.
The “Bolt Kit” consists of high-performance, recycled materials that come with Heat.RDY-keep cool technology designed to regulate player temperature during games.

Tormenta FC is set to debut and wear its new “Bolt Kit” at the 2022 USL League One season opener at Erk Russell Park on April 2 at 7:30 p.m. ET against North Carolina FC.
