STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC’s appeal to rescind the red card shown to Joshua Phelps in the team’s USL League One match against Union Omaha on April 16 has been supported by the league’s Independent Review Panel. Phelps is now available for selection to play in Tormenta FC’s next match.
Following the team’s 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup win against USL Championship side Birmingham Legion FC, Phelps and Tormenta FC head to South Carolina to play against Greenville Triumph SC on April 23. Fans can watch the match on ESPN+.
