STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC 2 has announced Ghanian defender Mohammed Seidu to its 2022 USL League Two roster, pending league and federation approval. At nineteen years old, Seidu brings value in experience, having already played 315 minutes in USL League Two.

In his freshman year of college, Seidu helped Marshall University bring home the College Spring League Championship, accompanying the team’s NCAA National Tournament trophy. Seidu logged 510 minutes in one season for the Thundering Herd, playing 10 matches and starting in four as a freshman. The rising defender also recorded three shots on goal from the backline.
Seidu gained League Two experience in the summer of 2021, appearing in seven matches with Black Rock FC in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The new addition to South Georgia follows in the footsteps of Marshall University graduate and TFC USL League One player Jamil Roberts.
