STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC Academy announced today the affiliation of Charleston United’s Girl’s Academy programs with TFC Academy programming. The affiliation intends to identify exceptional players in the Lowcountry region and provide an opportunity to train and participate in games with Tormenta FC Academy or the club’s United Soccer League teams.
“Entering into the extremely competitive Development Player League allows the girls at Tormenta to compete against some of the best players in the Southeast. Being able to open this opportunity to high-level girls from Charleston United Soccer Club while they also compete in their state league games is a Win/Win for both clubs. We are extremely excited to partner with Charleston United in providing higher levels of competition for female players throughout the Southeast.”Brad Nein stated, Tormenta FC Academy Vice President
Charleston United Girls Select (U13-U19) players will have the opportunity to participate in the Development Premier League (DPL) at Tormenta FC Academy.
