STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC forward Kazaiah Sterling was named to USL League One’s Team of the Week for Week 18 of the 2022 regular season. Sterling registered his second brace in his last three matches against NCFC on Saturday.
Sterling’s form at home has been impeccable; with two braces in the last two home games, Sterling has made Tormenta FC’s home a fortress. South Georgia is now unbeaten in three games at home.
Following Saturday’s match, Tormenta FC will visit its regional rival, Greenville, in search of maintaining its undefeated streak against the Triumph. The game will take place on Saturday, July 30, at Early Legacy College, at 7 p.m. ET.
