STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC has announced a scrimmage with Tormenta FC’s USL Academy team on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. ET, with entrance to the game free of charge for invited guests only. The scrimmage will help South Georgia prepare to host its first USL League One game at Tormenta Stadium on Oct. 1 against the Richmond Kickers.
Season ticket members, sponsors and guests can expect invites to the Sept. 28 match via email in the coming weeks. Fans should follow Tormenta Stadium on Twitter and Facebook for important updates and news.
The scrimmage will serve as a soft opening of Tormenta Stadium, with the game featuring a mixture of League One players and elite TFC Academy players.
