STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC’s appeal to rescind the red card shown to Owen Green in the team’s USL League One match against Union Omaha on Oct. 8 has been supported by an Independent Review Panel. Green is now available for selection to play in Tormenta FC’s regular season finale against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC from Optim Sports Medicine Field at Tormenta Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Green was shown a red card in the 22nd minute of the first half in Tormenta FC’s match against Union Omaha. The team secured a 1-1 result in its last away trip of the regular season.
