STATESBORO, Ga. – September 8, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC fans have voted Preston Kilwien as the August Player of the Month for his stellar performance on the pitch against Spokane Velocity FC, the Richmond Kickers, and Northern Colorado Hailstorm.
Player of the Month is directly voted on and ultimately selected by fans via the Tormenta FC app. In the running for the award was also Callum Stretch, Drew Romig and Pedro Fonseca.

Kilwien started in each of the three matches played in August and played the entire 90 minutes of each game.
Kilwien earned one assist in August, sending a cross to Pedro Fonseca, who netted the lone goal against Northern Colorado Hailstorm and tied up the match. Kilwien maintained at least an 87% accurate pass rate in each match played this August, as well. The left-back also created a total of three chances in August.
