South Georgia Tormenta FC has announced its full coaching and technical staff ahead of the 2026 USL League One season, highlighting a new addition to the staff.
Head Coach Mark McKeever returns for his first full season at the helm after being named the club’s official USL League One Head Coach in September 2025 and earning League One Coach of the Month honors shortly thereafter. Last season, McKeever helped the Ibis reach the League One semifinals and set a club record with a nine-match unbeaten streak. McKeever has built a strong reputation across the USL, spotlighted by leading the Des Moines Menace to the 2021 national championship and earning Coach of the Year honors.
McKeever will be joined by Associate Head Coach Jordan Bell and Assistant/Goalkeeping Coach Zane Barnes. Barnes joins the club for the 2026 season following several years of high-level collegiate experience at Winthrop University and East Texas Baptist University, as well as coaching experience in USL League Two.
Jordan Bell returns for his third year after contributing to the club’s playoff run last season. Bell joined Tormenta FC in 2024 after serving as a first-team assistant coach at One Knoxville SC. Prior to Knoxville, Bell served as Director of Coaching and Goalkeepers at Florida Elite SA and also held coaching roles in USL League Two and USL W League.
South Georgia’s technical staff is rounded out by Head Athletic Trainer Brian Mizeski and Director of Soccer Operations, Loren Kersey. Mizeski enters his second season with the club, and Kersey transitions into a new role after serving as Operations Coordinator for the past two seasons.
