As the Director of Annual Giving and Events, Gray is responsible for the leadership, management, and execution of Tormenta FC Academy’s annual giving program and special events. Tormenta FC Academy has the long-term vision of providing youth soccer at no charge to families. Adding this position to the Academy will bring us one step closer to reaching our goal.
Gray’s background in youth soccer, sports management, and community leadership makes her the ideal candidate for this position. She played Division I soccer at Morehead State University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management. Upon graduation, she became an intern and graduate assistant for the former Armstrong Atlantic State University Athletic Department. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Adult Education and Community Leadership. She holds the USSF National "D" License.
"Lindsay is an extremely talented individual that will be the spark to bring together previous, current and future Tormenta FC Academy players to have a connection to each other and the organization for years to come," TFC Academy Vice President Nein said. "Her creativity, drive and fundraising know-how will further aid our Academy to move further away from the pay-to-play model and allow us to deliver high-quality youth soccer at a lower price."
The club's ultimate goal is for players to develop as individuals, on a soccer path that may lead to playing professionally for Tormenta FC, Tormenta FC 2 or Tormenta Women.
