STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC has announced its upcoming Pride Night, set to take place on Monday, June 26, as Tormenta FC’s USL W League team takes on Southern Soccer Academy from Optim Sports Medicine Field at Tormenta Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Additionally, Tormenta FC has released a limited edition Tormenta FC Pride shirt. A portion of the sales from these shirts will be donated to Boro Pride, a local non-profit organization, established in 2019, that is focused on community building. Boro Pride strives to advocate for the visibility, inclusion, celebration, equality, and safety of LGBTQIAP+ people in Statesboro-Bulloch County, Georgia, and the surrounding areas.
On June 26, several Tormenta FC USL W League players will be wearing the Tormenta Pride shirt ahead of the match.
