STATESBORO, Ga. – July 5, 2024 – Tormenta FC’s Courtney Chochol was selected as the June Player of the Month for her exceptional performance on the pitch.

In a close vote, Chochol earned 33% of the vote to win the accolade for the month of May.
During the month of June, Chochol became the leading goal scorer of Tormenta’s W League for the month of June, tallying seven goals.
Notably, Chochol scored a hat trick in the final match of the season on June 30 against Fayetteville Fury. The winger also scored a brace against the South Carolina United Bantams to solidify a 5-0 win.
While often playing centrally, Chochol also created multiple goal scoring opportunities playing on the wing. Chochol provided a key assist to Carlyn Presley against Wake FC to win the match with a 0-1 score.
