“I’m really excited and honored to be given this opportunity to play for Tormenta this season. Bussey stated. I am looking forward to being surrounded by talented and committed college players all summer!”
There was no surprise that with the impressive skills displayed on the pitch, Bussey would earn United Soccer Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women’s All South Region First Team, ASUN First-Team All Conference, College Sports Communicators Division I Women’s Soccer Academic All-District Team honors along with many others.
W League Head Coach Jim Robbins had this to say about the newly acquired forward, “Alice is a dynamic player who can play either up front or in an advanced central midfield position. She is quick and athletic and loves to run at players with the ball. She can also score goals in a variety of ways which makes her very difficult to defend. She is a great asset in our team and will give Tormenta another attacking threat that our opponents have to account for and deal with this summer.”
