The USL Jägermeister Cup returns to South Georgia for the 2025 season, as Tormenta FC takes on Greenville Triumph SC in their first match of the tournament. Fans can enjoy the game and have some four-legged fun with Paws and Claws night at Tormenta Stadium on Saturday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday’s match comes with some history, especially for midfielder Aaron Walker, who will challenge his former club for three points on the group table. After being with Greenville for nearly five years, this will be Walker’s first time facing them since his departure in 2023. Now, the Georgia native will defend the 912 as he lights up the pitch against the South Carolina side.
Looking at the USL League One standings, both teams mirror each other with a record of two wins, three losses and one draw. Tormenta takes the advantage with 11 goals and a conversion rate of 22.9% compared to Greenville’s five goals and 8.8% conversion rate. However, a game is won on the pitch, not on paper, so all that can be promised is a night of tension and excitement.
In addition to an exciting soccer game, fans can also enjoy Tormenta’s first Paws and Claws night of the season, where the first 50 pets through the gate receive a free Tormenta FC bandana. Furthermore, there will be a pre-match adoption event running from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Fans can also enjoy the first Jӓgermeister Cup match with Saturday’s promotion of $3 White Claws, no pets required!
