South Georgia Tormenta FC invites fans to come meet the 2025 USL W League squad at a special Community Meet & Greet event on Thursday, May 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Tormenta Stadium.
Come celebrate the start of a new season with the club’s women’s team as they gear up for the season opener on May 17, against NC Fusion. After winning the 2022 USL W League Championship, the team returns in 2025 with high expectations and a roster full of returning talent and exciting newcomers, all ready to chase another title.
Fans in attendance can look forward to:
- The first 100 guests will receive a hot dog and a snow cone from Boro Sno
- Autographs and photo opportunities with players and coaches
- Kid-friendly activities and local vendors
- A visit from Bolt, the team mascot
The event is free to attend, and all ages are welcome. Bring your friends and family along to kick off the summer, meet your favorite W League players and get ready for another exciting season of women’s soccer in Statesboro.
