South Georgia Tormenta FC hits the road this Saturday, June 21, for a key USL League One matchup against One Knoxville SC at Covenant Health Park in Knoxville, Tennessee, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.
Tormenta is coming off a 2–2 road draw against Texoma FC last weekend, a match that featured a standout performance from Brazilian defender Gabriel Alves, who scored his first goal of the season and tallied his third assist, earning him a spot on the USL League One Team of the Week. Tormenta showed flashes of quality and fight against Texoma, something they will need to carry into Saturday’s test in Tennessee.
One Knoxville SC currently sits in sixth place in the league standings, with three draws, one win, and one loss in their last five games.
