South Georgia Tormenta FC’s USL W League team earned a 4-1 away game victory on Wednesday evening with another dominating performance over Wake FC.
Tormenta FC opened up the scoring around the 35th minute of the game with an amazing goal from none other than forward Constance Agyemang who has been on a tear all season, earning her 5th and 6th goals of the season tonight. Shortly after this amazing play, forward Mad’y Soumare found another way to quickly add on to the lead, making it 2-0 for Tormenta.
Leading at halftime 2-1, the break only gave Tormenta an advantage and they came out fighting. At the 76th minute, a familiar name came up once again for another goal as Agyemang gave Tormenta a 3-1 lead over Wake FC. Agyemang’s second goal of the night gave South Georgia a good cushion going into the final 20 minutes of the match. Tormenta wasn’t done here and tallied a fourth goal from Lina Jaime to give Tormenta Fc a 4-1 lead at the 84th minute of the match.
Tormenta FC W League will play their final game on the road this Sunday, June 29th, at 7 p.m. on the road against Carolina Ascent FC at Hough HS.
