The Tormenta FC 07/08 Girls are proving once again why they are one of the premier youth soccer teams in the region when it comes to developing talent and preparing players for the next level. The team has established a strong track record of helping its athletes reach their dreams of playing collegiate soccer, and the results speak for themselves.
From last year’s graduating class of eight seniors, an impressive six players signed to play college soccer:
- Three at the Division I level
- Two at the Division II level
- One in a Junior College program
This year, the momentum continues. The 2026 class is already making headlines with five seniors currently committed to play college soccer, with even more players expected to secure roster spots as the season progresses. These commitments highlight not only the talent within the 07/08 Girls’ team, but also the dedication of Tormenta FC’s coaching staff and player development pathway.
With the only USL Academy franchise in the area, TFC leverages this summer program to have many of its youth players participate in U20 matches with and against college freshmen/sophomores. This program is utilized in conjunction with the traditional fall regional leagues to maximize year-over-year growth and prepare players for the rigors of collegiate soccer.

The 07/08 girls have established themselves as the most successful girls’ team in club history. Along with individual success, the group has won the last two Disney Girls Soccer Showcases, among other notable events.
