Tormenta FC Academy is thrilled to return to training and competitive play, but it and its members should use the following protocols* as we prepare to offer soccer activities.
The academy will continue to follow the guidance of the local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in regards to upcoming youth training and games throughout South Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina. What do I do if I or anyone in my family has been in contact with someone who has tested positive and/or I have been told to isolate or quarantine by a health professional or contact tracer?
Please follow the procedures listed below BEFORE attending training or a game:
- Email, text, or call Jennifer Hampton (JHampton@www.tormentafc.com or 240-217-8434).
- If she is unable to speak to you immediately, she will reach out to you to discuss timing and specifics to be able to plan your safe return date to training and/or games.
- Until you speak to Jennifer, do NOT attend training and/or games.

- Ensure the player is healthy and check your player’s temperature prior to any training session. The player may not attend training or a game with a fever.
- Notify the club immediately if the player has been exposed to a positive case. Do not attend training or games until the club’s designated return-to-play date.
- Non-vaccinated parents and spectators are recommended to wear face coverings during all activities/events/matches.
- Follow all state and local health requirements.

- Have an action plan in place, in case of a positive test.

- Be prepared to shut down and stop operations. Develop plans for temporary closure of indoor facilities or outdoor activities or camps to properly disinfect and ensure other adult leaders or youth are not infected.
- Provide adequate field space for social distancing.
- Provide hand sanitizing stations if possible and waste receptacles at fields.
