Who We Are – Mission Statement / Founding Strategic Vision:
The tides are rising in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry of South Carolina. Tormenta Nation spoke, and we listened. As economic development booms in the area and entrepreneurship thrives, Tormenta FC felt compelled to further contribute to the development of economic vitalization. From these conversations emerged the Tormenta Business Collective, a club-style program aimed at advancing and promoting area businesses.
At its core, the Tormenta Business Collective is a community-centric initiative designed to promote and amplify the interests of regional businesses. With an entry-level partnership investment, members can utilize Tormenta FC logo rights, be recognized formally as a corporate supporter of the club, build its brand, enjoy premium tickets to Tormenta FC matches and leverage a variety of other V.I.P. membership perks.
Why Did We Start This Program?
In the spirit of diagnostic engineers, we heard the following examples as key challenges amongst the small business community and wanted to create a solution to address them. Common issues included:
- “Nobody’s Heard of My Company”
- “I Can’t Find, or Retain, Good Workers”
- “Sales Are Stagnant”
- “I Don’t Know Where to Start to Grow My Business”

Who is Eligible to Join?
The mission of the Tormenta Business Collective is to boost regional businesses. To qualify for participation, area businesses must meet the following criteria:
- Have less than 50 employees
- An annual revenue of less than $8 million
- Memberships are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
